I recently got a new laptop, an Acer, and I wanted to download one game on it from Steam, but when I went to install it, it said I didn't have enough disc space. In my folder it says that I only have 2.87GB free of 28.0GB. I have tried deleting things, but in order to download the game I need 9289MB, but it's says I have 2938MB free disk space.

You will have to carefully select and uninstall some programs AND eventually get a larger internal HD; I was going to suggest adding a 2nd internal HD, however I do not know your laptop make and model, if that has a 2nd bay. Meanwhile, what is the total byte-space of your present internal drive?

It sounds like you have the OS installed on a 32GB drive?
If so, you really need to have stuff download to and install to the 'other' drive.

What is the make/model of the laptop?
What drives are in it?
