Internet works fine on Laptop for a minute or two then stops, works fine on other devices

This has to be the weirdest problem that I've ever encountered:

I've got a laptop that works fine on Wifi in different countries and on different ISPs around the world and here in Sweden. But on my home broadband ComHem (the largest ISP in Sweden) internet works for a few minutes then stops. If I disconnect and then reconnect the same happens. A couple of times it has continued to work for an hour or so without a problem, but this is rare. The crazy thing is that all my other devices, work laptop, smartphones, smart TV etc. all work fine all of the time. I also remember that I experienced the same issue with my laptop whilst staying at a friend's place in Sweden who also had ComHem. Any ideas anyone (before I go crazy!)?

p.s. I just updated my virus check and ran a full scan but it didn't find anything.

2.4G wireless frequency and it's a Toshiba Portege and using in-built Wifi.
I get 'IPv4 Connectivity - No Internet access' and 'IPv6 Connectivity - No Internet access'. Sometimes I've noticed that they can also both change to 'No network access', back an forth. They are both set to automatic (no manual settings).

I just hooked up via Ethernet cable and the connection seems fine with that, so must be something with the Wifi. Weird though, like I said I've used the laptop on countless Wifi networks without experiencing problems, just a problem twice and both on ComHem as an ISP (possibly the same model of router - CBN CH7486E)

Solution
You have to deal with/work with both frequencies and channels.

And although your laptop wirelessly works well elsewhere that may simply mean that it has "decided" or otherwise confgured itself for some particular wireless environment. And thus fails at home.

If at home you do not have IPv6 - disable (uncheck) that protocol.

The idea being to start eliminating possible conflicts.

However, the problem with that is that connectivity does work for some time. I.e., "a minute or two".....

Do you know what wireless frequency and channel the laptop is using?

Could be that in certain circumstances the laptop's wireless connectivity is tenuous and once connectivity is lost it is difficult to recover.

May be specific to the wireless adapter you are using: is it a built in wireless adapter or USB? If USB, a USB extension cable will allow you to move the USB wireless adapter away from the laptop up and about to help maintain reception.

Try to identify and narrow down the circumstances.

Also check your wireless adapter's configuration settings. Maybe using a manual setting versus "auto" or "auto negotiate". Or vice versa.

Only change one thing at a time and keep notes in case you need to reverse some change.
