Hi guys,
I want to build a new gaming PC, but I have a very tight budget. So I am thinking of getting this build:
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B250M-K
Memory: DDR4 8gb Crucial
but I am not sure which GPU fits most with the CPU gtx 1050 ti or gtx 1060 3gb?

Thank you

Solution
1060 3 gb is not worth any attention. If you can afford it, then you can probably afford rx 570 too, which is better choice. Otherwise, stick with 1050 ti.

First of all, you do not select a GPU choice based on the CPU choice. If you are doing that, you haven't properly selected the hardware for your usage.

Choose the CPU based on the desired FPS (usually at or just under monitor's refresh rate) in the games you play. Resolution/graphical settings will not affect the CPU's performance, vise versa. The CPU will affect the framerate, no matter the resolution, and act as an FPS cap. Note some settings i.e View Distance or Physics, or Shading quality can affect the CPU workload but those settings are generally not available.

Choose the GPU that can perform to your performance goal (desired FPS) at your preferred resolution (1080p, 1440p, etc) and graphics quality (very low, low, medium, etc).

If you are in need of more assistance please tell us the games you intend/have in mind to play, your preferred minimum framerate, resolution, and preferred graphics quality.

Also, those GPUs are far apart economically. The GTX 1060 3gb isn't a very good choice nowadays anyways with the release of the RX 570/580.

Hi Rexper,
1080p resolution would be fine with me. Also I am planning to play some demanding games like Battlefield 1 and Fallout 4 but with Medium y settings. I'm not aiming for ultra or high. I guess I'll get rx 570 in this case. Sorry, I don't know a lot about hardware it's first time building my own PC :D

Bf1 runs quite poor on the g4560 due to it only being a dual core with 4 threads.

In battlefield 1 you'd be expecting FPS drops to low 50s, but overall nice for 60FPS gameplay. Same goes for Fallout 4. In 1080p using a medium preset, the 1050ti will average around 70 FPS, all good. For Fallout 4 the 1050ti will be fine for atleast 60FPS average. Note this information is collected via several reviews.

Out of this, it's fair to say the g4560 + 1050ti will suit you well.

Just tested the Pentium G4560 and the GTX GeForce 1050 ti 4Gb with 8Gb of ram on ultra settings. Came out with 60fps. In the future you will have to upgrade to a better cpu but its a very good starting point.
