I'm currently running a i7 7700k with a 1080ti. I hear that it is powerful enough to dab into 4k. I've always ran 1080p/60hz. I've been looking at 4k/60hz or 1440p/165hz both with gsync (if that makes a difference) I've been looking around a lot and I just don't want my 1080ti to go to waste if r it can handle 4k, but some say it wouldnt be smooth gameplay, which of course is a big deal.
