Hi guys.
I bought a MSI GE62VR laptop a few days ago. there were no issues with it until I realized left side of the touchpad is getting so hot even when I don't use the laptop intensively. after some research I found out it's the HDD that gets hot(HDD is in left side of touchpad). in most idle condition hdd temp is about 55-56 C and right now that I am writing, temp is 59 C and you can guess how hot it gets while playing game.
Smart test shows no problem
I wanted to know if it's normal for a laptop hdd or it's faulty?
Thanks

Solution
For now, please purchase and use a usb external cooling fan assembly (one giant fan or twin fans), that may help hold the HD temp down somewhat -- until much better answers are given by others in here. One wild guess on my part: it may be time to make backups of your OS and Data partitions onto reliable media and consider replacing that "hot-running" hard-drive.
