G.Skill Trident Z RGB RAM not working properly?

I have the G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB Ram, and one of 3 out of 4 of my sticks are red (the color they're supposed to be) one of the sticks is white though, and doesn't change even in the software used to change the colors, sometimes it'll change to red, but when it does another goes to white.

Can anyone help me fix this?

The G.Skill Control software, Beta v1.00.16
And I've already uninstalled the program, restarted my PC, reinstalled the program, restarted my PC, still having the same issue.

Tried removing the RAM and putting it back in
Tried removing the RAM and switching where each stick was.

Still having the issue. >_>
I'll leave a video link as to exactly what's going on

Yeah its rubbish, still beta, this is mine, a link to the software is in the description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSI3cs5RHk0

However, to completely uninstall the G.Skill software is a bit tricky, you need to make sure its all gone and then restart before installing the ASUS software,

Goto program files first and find AsLedService > 1.00.01 > AraUninstall, remove that first, then uninstall the G.skill software, then go back to that folder and delete it, now reboot and try that ASUS software instead, looks exactly the same, someone copied someone.

After installing the ASUS lighting control, no reboot required, goto services.msc and start the 2 ASUS services, (Asus COM service) and (AsRogAuraService), then run the app, I have to run the app as administrator to get it to open.

I don't have an ASUS Aura compatible motherboard, I'm running on X99 on an ASUS Rampage V Extreme motherboard, so the Control software by G.Skill is my only option I think right now.

In terms of uninstalling it, I don't have AsLedService in my program files, I have the G.Skill. Posting a picture of what I mean.

Any idea how I would need to uninstall this then because when I right click G.Skill and click Uninstall, it does literally nothing. Only way I can get it to install is by downloading it again off the website, double clicking the Setup.exe and have it uninstall like that.

Got it, I'll do that next, does this work for you in terms of getting all your sticks RGB's to work properly? And how often do your RGB's mess up? Mine screw up every single shut down and restart.

Ive had a couple of problems, one time one of my sticks went dark, no LEDs at all, that was on the G.Skill software, I was pulling my hair out with it trying to get it to work again, everything I tried wouldnt work, even re-installing the G.Skill software just came up with "it couldnt find any RGB compatible ram in my system" lol WTH, so I contacted G.skill tech support and got very close to sending it back as faulty, however I started testing out all the other board manufacturers Aura software, Gigabyte, ASUS and MSI, as soon as I installed the ASUS software and set defaults, the stick lite back up, not had a problem since.

Wait, what do you mean other board manufacturers Aura software? Can you link me to the one you're using to fix your problem? I didn't know you could use other software to control this or at least get this fixed. >_< I thought it HAD to be the Control software or the one in the BIOS for Aura compatible motherboards.

Im using the ASUS software to control mine, I got it originally from here: https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z270G-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ select Windows 10 x64 as your OS when you get to that page, then select utilities, then 2nd on that list, AURA V1.04.29, downloaded and installed that, its working right now, ive just done another video to show you, just uploading it now, once again, on an MSI motherboard.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong though, gonna restart the computer and see if that helps any.

Strange that it wont install at all, its pretty much the same software as the G.Skill software, try the X99 version instead: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-V-EDITION-10/HelpDesk_Download/ AURA V1.03.48

FINALLY got it installed, but I don't see a new program on my desktop or in my programs, was there supposed to be a new program? If so what is it called? I must be missing something because when I go into the AURA folder and open the Aura application from the Program Files x86 -> ASUS - Aura, nothing happens when I open the AURA program...

did you try the X99 version of the software I posted ?

also, try a reboot and try opening it again.

when trying to open it, do you see a little command windows flash up on the screen, sometimes my system is a little slow to open it too, but I know its on the way if I see that CMD window pop up and disappear.
