Can I use two different Nvidia GPUs without SLI mode for dual-monitor setup?

I am currently building a setup and got all my PC components, just waiting for the CPU, MOBO and RAM to arrive (currrently using a Q6600 + an old G41 mobo + 4GB RAM). My monitor is a AOC 1366x768 5ms 60hz and I'm planning on getting a AOC G2260VWQ6 (1ms and Display Port 1080p ftw), since I play a lot of FPS like CSGO, Battefield 4, Team Fortress 2. But then I don't wanna just throw my 768p monitor in the trash or don't use it, I was planning on making it my second monitor to watch videos or browse the web while on these loading screens or simply just doing something else on my main screen. Since my graphics card is a 1050 Ti Zotac mini (had it since November), I don't think it could handle two monitors (maybe it could, but my FPS would probably have a big impact), so I decided to get a cheap and weak card to power my second monitor, and a friend of mine is selling his 750 (non-Ti) for 40$. It would be a great bargain, but I don't know if I could run my 1050 Ti and a 750 on the same system. I thought "Since they won't be working on SLI and working on different screens maybe there wouldn't be any problems", but I still decided to ask you guys just to confirm my tought. Another problem I think it would happen is the CPU would have to keep the two GPUs fed and it could lead to crippled performance, since I'm getting a G4560.

That's not how it works anyways. Even with 2 gpus and a monitor to each, the main gpu still does all the work. But as said, you shouldn't see a difference as long as you aren't doing anything strenuous. Having a video or multiple tabs is not strenuous. You could run the 750 as a dedicated physx gpu but the games that use it is very short and not worth the money anyways.

Btw dp has no advantage over hdmi for that monitor since you can't use freesync. Plus 1ms is just marketing and doesn't make a difference. It is a good monitor for the price though.
