If you're only gaming the i5 is a good choice, no need to cancel.

It's the CPU itself which carries the integrated graphics (if it has any, AMD's non-APUs do not), the motherboard will then be built around the CPU socket itself and will support it if required.
A Ryzen 1500X would be a better fit now however due to the increasing gaming performance through fixes and updates and increased thread count which is becoming increasingly relevant nowadays in games.
