My computer won't turn on after a force shut down

Earlier today I walked past my computer and I noticed that the screen was still awake so I turned the computer of by the switch not knowing that it was actually the whole computer was on and the screen was just turned off and now my computer didn't turn on every time I press the power button there is no reaction by the computer please I really need help and on how to fix this please email me at * Moderator edit for personal info * if you have a solution

Unplug the computer from power, hold in the power button for about 10 seconds, try again. If that does not work, unplug the system, remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds, plug it back in, see if that works.
