Hi there,

I have a problem with my Wacom Display Cintiq13hd.

Hi All, let's see if anyone has any pointers :)

I am struggling to keep my cintiq13hd to behave in extended screen mode while keeping my cursor correctly calibrated. Below a bit of an explanation:

I have my cintiq (1920x1080) connected to my dell precision tower with the HDMI cable with an adapter to my DVI port in my Dell graphics card Quadro k4200. The Cintiq cable is then connected over USB to the tower, and to the power supply. These three cables then turn into one as they connect back to the cintiq as the hybrid power supply and plug.

I have two other displays connected to my dell tower via HDMI cable to DP port with an adaptor (1920x1080), and another screen over DP to DP (1440x900).

I need to use my cintiq to model with the Pro Pen in ZBrush4R7, while I follow tutorials on my two other screens.

I have managed to calibrate the Cintiq and model in Zbrush when I use only one display and is on replicated mode, which will not allow me to multitask.

When I switch to extended mode and have the three displays running continuously, the cintiq maps the entire 3 screens as my workspace, which makes the cursor and the pen behave without matching.

I have no mapping tab in my Wacom Tablet properties, and when I set it up to Display Toggle, pen display to other displays, the display toggle will not switch between my 1, 2 and 3 displays.

I have tried Driver 6.3.21-10 and Driver 6.3.20-7 on my Windows 8.1 system to no avail.

The only instance when the tablet pen and cursor match, is when I do a fresh install of the latest driver and shows a "glowing" or "starred" cursor, which as soon as the driver recognizes the 3 screens, disappears and goes back to erratic behavior.

I have tried several times to re-calibrate the display to also no avail. I don't seem to be able to get the table to stop mapping my total screen real state.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have tried all options to my best knowledge, including looking into resolution and screen scaling. I must be missing something.

I hope to hear back from anyone with some help.

Thank you!

Solution
this sounds to me like a limitation of the cintiq software. likely it was never designed to accept multiple screens or choose between them. if there is no setting in the program/drivers from cintiq to specify a screen it would i imagine in default try to work with your total effective resolution (all screens connected in extended mode)

you may want to get in touch with their tech support or design team to see if they will support the ability to pick and choose a screen to map.
