What do you think of this build?

Solution
The CPU cooler isn't very good. I recommend putting $5 more into the Cryorig H7. The performance you get out of it is well worth it.

The Samsung 850 EVO is a well performing, however overpriced SSD. The crucial MX300 can be found at a cheaper price, has a high storage capacity, and real world performance (OS boot and games/program load times) difference is unnoticeable.

Other than that, the build seems fine. Do note if you are not purely gaming the Ryzen 5 series CPU could be a better path to go.

Good system. Can't say there's anything I would've done better with it, maybe went with the Ryzen 5 platform, but Intel is still dominant before AMD whips the kinks out of their system. One thing I will say, though, is that I don't know how much I'd trust a bundled keyboard/mouse for 40 bucks. Based on reviews given, people seem to say it's pretty good, with some general complaints about the mouse and such.

Thanks

Multiple people told me that I needed to change the CPU cooler. The problem is, the Cryorig H7 is around $26 more in my country and I am already a bit over my budget already so I was trying lower the cost, not increase it. Can I know your opinion about this cooler https://www.amazon.com/MasterAir-Cooler-Continuous-Technology-Master/dp/B01M5K6DKW?tag=bom_tomshardware-20&ascsubtag=site:thus as it is almost the same price as the 212x.

The Crucial MX300 is just $8 cheaper, in my country, which in my opinion, is not a very good option especially for looks as my case is tempered glass and I want it to look as best as possible.

I am not planning to do any CPU intensive tasks, so I won't need to go with a Ryzen 5 CPU.

Thanks

Most reviews about the keyboard and mouse are positive. So... yeah...

My only criticism is more of a personal preference. I would drop the Asus STRIX motherboard, get something a little cheaper, and use that extra money to bump up to a GTX 1080. I've seen them on sale for $450 recently, and that would obviously put you in a different league performance-wise. Like I said though, that's kind of personal preference, I'm just looking at it from a cost/performance point of view.

Yes, from a cost/performance view, you are right. But if I would want to take full use of the 1080, I would upgrade to at least a 1440p monitor which would add more cost.

Not necessarily, there will definitely be some games that you won't be able to hit 144 fps with using the 1070. If you get a 1080, you'll be able to utilize that 144hz monitor more than you would with the 1070. Here's a reddit thread with some people talking about using a GTX 1080 with 1080p.

Alright can you recommend me a good motherboard (preferably from ASUS and has WiFi and Bluetooth).
