Hi Everyone,
I was using my Externay HDD perfectly for about a year and last night after copying some important data to a sub folder in one of the main floder of my HDD i dissconnected it properly, i connected it to my laptop.

Everything in my External HDD is at its place, just the main folder in which i coppied some files minutes ago says folder empty in size discription and its of the main folder is also empty of all the data just a newfolder is there which is also empty.

The HDD shows the same size as before i dissconnected it from my PC.
Please i need that data its important and not backed up anywhwere.

If it's not backed up anywhere, you have no way to get it back. Moving a file is not the same as deleting it. If you have shadow copy enabled you may be able to restore the folder the files were in. Right-click on it, go to Properties and see if you have a Previous Versions tab there to restore things to. "important data" and "not backed up" is never a good mix. You do not want to move files to an external drive, you should use the external drive as a backup to the originals, not to keep your only copies in.
