Hiya all, I am new to PC building, and with that being said, this will be my first build. I need help selecting some G.Skill RGB memory though, since I do not really understand all the different types out there. The PC store here has told me many different things, so I thought I would turn to a community that could help. It is going to be a gaming PC, and so far I have the following, and suggestions on a graphic card would be much appreciated as well. Thank you in advance.

ASUS MAXIMUS IX FORMULA LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 Z270 ATX Motherboard
Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K
NZXT Kraken X62
Phanteks PH-EC416PSTG_WT Eclipse P400S Silent Edition with Tempered Glass
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, 80+ GOLD 850W, Fully Modular
Acer Predator 34-inch Curved UltraWide QHD (3440 x 1440) NVIDIA G-Sync Widescreen Display
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27-inch Gaming Monitor x2

There are 2 main things to consider when getting RAM. Speed, and storage.
Storage: 32 gb, 64 gb, etc.
Speed: DDR4, DDR3

You need something that will be a good balance between the 2.
Based on your choices, I would get a 32 or 16 gigabyte DDR4-3200 RAM kit.

Thank you very much. I will go ahead and get that then.

What would you suggest as far as a graphic card goes? I play Tomb Raider, FFXIV, Overwatch, Elder Scrolls, stuff like that.

Considering you're going with a Z270 board and an i7-7700k... You will need DDR4 RAM. For the most part, if you're just going to play games on the computer, you need a minimum of 8GB and can stop at 16GB. If you're doing graphics work or any other development work, you may want to look beyond 16GB.

Now, pretty much now days, RAM is RAM is RAM. Just get the fastest your budget and motherboard allows in the size you want. If your budget is tight, there's nothing wrong with going with the cheapest, even if it exceeds 2133 or 2400 data rates. LEDs are just bling and you will pay a premium for them. That said, your two choices I can immediately identify are:

Corsair Vengeance RGB
and G.Skill Trident Z RGB

As to a Graphics card, I would look at a GTX-1070 or GTX-1080, Perhaps a GTX-1080Ti if you can find one at an excellent price within your budget considering your choice of monitors.
