Hi,
I am wondering if my pc is good enough for recording gameplay at 1080p 60fps. I want to record some funny moments of some games in the near future for YouTube, for example of Star Wars Battlefront 2 when that comes out.
This is my pc right now:
Motherboard: MSI B150M Night Elf, Socket-1151
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K Skylake
GPU: ASUS Radeon R9 380X 4GB
PSU: Corsair CX600, 600W
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2133MHz 16GB
My friend and I were thinking of overclocking the CPU, so that may help. I have tried to record some footage of Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 1, but the gameplay footage was a bit laggy, and I could make out some pixels, even though it still looked like 1080p. Here is one video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A5cRg6mBVI&t=196s
So is my pc good enough, or am I using OBS and Sony Vegas wrong? Maybe I need to edit the settings there. I have already done so, but maybe it can be done better. Any help would be appreciated.
