Hi,

Got home today and tried to boot my PC only to find that there was no video output. I have tried connecting a HDMI cable to my GPU, HDMI to motherboard and VGA to motherboard but nothing has worked. I have tried reseating my GPU, testing other devices on the monitor (A TV) and they all work and output fine. The computer appears to boot normally with the CPU fan spinning as expected, things like the disc drive open and close. The GPU fans do not spin though. I have no motherboard speaker so I can't tell you if there are any post beeps. There is normally a light on the motherboard which is orange when off and green when the computer is running but the light no longer comes on at all. The computer is around a year old and shortly after purchase had to be repaired due to a motherboard failure

Hi sorry forgot to mention them:

Monitor: Panasonic Viera TV
Mobo: gigabyte s2 h110m s2h
GPU: Sapphire 380 4gb
CPU: i5 6500
1x8gb DDR4 RAM (not sure on make/model)
Seagate 2tb HDD
Disc Drive

Just to have a complete picture; what is the make/model of your PSU?
Since you have eliminated the TV as the problem, I would be inclined to suspect either the GPU or the MB, particularly if you have a quality PSU in the build. I am assuming that it all worked at one time?

Hi,

The PSU is a EVGA 600w White Edition, I couldn't tell you the exact model. The computer has worked without issue for almost a year which is how long I have had it, although shortly after purchase it had to be repaired due to a motherboard fault.

Managed to find and attach an old PC speaker but I think the speaker may not work. There are no BIOS beeps no matter what I do (for example taking out all the RAM).

I had another quick look today and still no joy, I've tried reseating the RAM and booting with nothing attached

If you are SURE that you are selecting the correct input on the TV, I would have to suspect that you have a motherboard issue.

Hi

I am certain I am selecting the correct input. I'm thinking it's the motherboard too but I cannot understand why the rest of the computer including the CPU seem to function as normal? I'm not sure if I said but I have tried different cables which are confirmed working for other devices and a VGA cable to rule out any issues with HDMI
