Hi, I'm trying to build a pc and would appreciate any recommendations or help on choosing the right components.

I'm planning on building a pc mainly for the sound design (I mostly use a software called Propellerhead), and a bit of gaming with three 1080p monitors setup for both sound design and gaming. I'm not looking for a maxed out graphics settings, but enough to play them smoothly without any lag.

Would GTX 1060 be enough to power up three monitors while I'm either playing games or using other softwares? And would you guys recommend going with Ryzen instead of Intel? If Ryzen, which would be enough for my goal between 5 and 7?

I've read multiple reviews and articles, and it seems Ryzen is better for stuffs other than gaming, and even then it generally has only 10~15% lower performance than Intel's.

Thanks,

well instead of a 1060 i would go with a rx 580 cause of its dx 12 and vulcan driver support and i would go with ryzen cause it has more cores which is always good for a content creator like you now i would go with ryzen 7 because i have heard that propeller head uses cpu usage to the max and you will have a all amd build so i would recommend these things also if you would like a complete build list i could make that for you to.
