I am currently selecting the parts to go into my new PC and have noticed that there is a range of 240Gb SSD all at the same price with similar perfomance. So what SSD is more trusted/better :

- Sandisk 240Gb SSD PLUS
- Sandisk 240Gb Ultra II
- Kingston 240Gb SSDNow UV400

I am leaning towards the Sandisks because I have seen them many a time before in Rig building videos, but which one performs better ? ( I can get them at the same price )

Solution
None of the above.

Sandisk PLUS and UV400 are both using Toshiba TLC flash chips which are actually slower then previous generaiton chips.
The Sandisk Ultra has better performance but many are defective after some time making it also a bad choice.

You really should try to get a samsung 850 evo or crucial mx300.
If you have to have to get a budget SSD drive then look at the PNY CS1311 it is the "best" of the Toshiba TLC budget drives.

i have a 120 kingston, does its job ell

after you put any of those, the performance won't matter because read speeds will be over 400megabytes per second, so all will be fast

remember to not fill them up 100% leave always 10% free, ssds when full will perform horribly bad, i tried it and is true

get the one that offers better warranty and is cheaper, youll be fine with any of those

didn't you heard that samsung things explode?

trow a stone at a crowd and someone will get hit, all brands andm odels will have pros and cons, no brand or model is perfect

all of them have fans and haters

get a corsair and someone will tell it is expensive and rebranded, all is the same, what matters is warranty and that i not a hard disk, is a ssd
