I have a Bitfenix Prodigy M (black variant) that I'd like some advice on.

1. I spent 5 hrs over the weekend completely dismantling the PC and cleaning the accumulated dust of the past three years out of every blessed component. Considering how difficult it is to work inside such a small case, its not an experience I'm eager to repeat any time soon. So I did some research and found the following dust filters.

They're a bit pricey so I'd like to be sure they're a good investment. Anyone used DEMCiflex or know of a better solution?

2. I have three fans inside the PC, (not counting the one on the heatsink), with one connected to the PSU but only 1 spare mobo port for the other two. To make things more complicated, the mobo port is four pin and the fan connectors are three pin. I've read that you can buy a three pin adapter, but also that you can plug a three pin fan into a four pin port. So which should I buy: the adapter or a four pin extension? As an additional thought, is that many fans overkill?

Finally, due to my changing of the layout in the PC, I had to remove the ODD that was in the front bay. However, I don't want the resultant gaping hole in the PC, a perfect entrance for dust. Ideas?

Sorry to be so long winded; hope someone can help.
