I finally got some money and decided to buy new cpu.
My current setup is: CPU:Amd Athlon II X3 450(with unlocked 4th core)
GPU:Gtx 1050
Motherboard:Asus m5a78m-le
RAM:8 GB DDR3

At the moment I use my pc mainly for gaming and light work in Sony Vegas but i want to start streaming some games like LoL,Hs and WoW on Twitch.

I really dont know what cpu to choose so i need help.
I was thinking about Ryzen 5 1400,1500x,Intel i5 6400.......or even Fx 8*** becasue i dont need to change my motherboard then.

I appreciate every single comment. TY
P.S Sorry for bad English and some grammar mistakes,English is not my native language.

Well than Ryzen 5 1500x or 1600, 16 GB DDR4 2666 Mhz and a B350 mobo like Asus Prime Plus will do you very good in upcoming years.

If you insist on keep the old platform, then the FX-83xx CPU is the way to go. Here's the CPU support list: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LE/HelpDesk_CPU/
But it appears that is a 95W board, meaning the FX-8350/70 is not recommended.

If he upgrades to either the intel processor or new amd ryzen processor he will have to get a new motherboard.

Right now a 1500 or 1500x will provide better streaming performance due to more cores. Generally speaking amd is the way to go for the time being..try to avoid cross-grading its not really worth upgrading for anything less than a 30%performance upgrade. Just my opinion. There's also talk of coffee lake coming out in august if you don't mind a little wait. 6 cores faster clocks. Doesn't look like you upgrade often so better to do a large jump and get the value for your buck.
