Is RAM Stability Test Necessary?

Hello,

I've been wanting to utilise my ram (DDR4 3000mhz) and i managed to get it to 2933hz it was default at 2133mhz. (I am a noob so figuring out the bios was fun). I am wondering if its worth running a RAM stress test like Prime95 to see if it's stable (although I am using the PC right now)! The RAM frequency corsair promotes this at (3000mhz) means that it is capable doing those speeds.

I am in a pickle about this and would appreciate some help, thanks!

You should have been able to just enable the XMP profile to get it to 3000 MHz. Did that not work? If you were overclocking it manually for some reason I'd recommend stability testing it.
