Bought i5 7500. Having second thoughts

Hey all, recently made new system running on i5 7500 and I have zero performance issues but I am thinking that this is not the best future proof CPU. Is it worth selling it back and go for an i7 7700, or you think it can wait a year or maybe two ? Current GPU is RX 480, 8GB

For gaming there is very little difference between the i5 & i7. If you are using the PC mainly for graphics (photo
& video) then get the strongest CPU you can afford and mobo will support.
