Greetings!

Thinking of building a PC with parts I got laying around and I wonder if my AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor is fully compatible with Corsair Vengeance DDR3? It probably will not run in its standard clock (1600Mhz) but will it be compatible?

That's going to depend on your motherboard. The Phenom II will work on AM3 and AM3+ boards which do support DDR3, but it also works on some AM2+ boards, which tended to use DDR2 RAM. The RAM won't work at 1600MHz out of the box, but it should run at a slower speed.
