I was playing Overwatch until just about an hour ago where I realized that my computer was suddenly making a whole bunch of noise. I figured usually a quick restart will do the trick but my computer won't even get past booting since I get the error "CPU Fan speed error detected". My build isn't old either, just built this past October.

--Specs--
Asus Z170-A
i5-6600K
H100-I V2 Cooler
Asus GTX 1060 Strix
HyperX Fury Black 16GB

I'm trying to diagnose the problem to see what it might be, all the components are pretty new so I'm assuming dust. But why so sudden? I never had a problem until now.

I took a look into the BIOS after rebooting and my CPU would just slowly rise up to 90+ degrees. I'm gonna go with either 3 things, my CPU just got busted, or I need to reapply thermal paste on my CPU, or my cooler got busted.
Unfortunately I can't really do anything right now since I don't have extra thermal paste, and by the time I go to the computer shop it will be closed.

Solution
It's probably your pump that is busted, check if the pump is working. You don't need thermal paste as you don't need to remove the heatsink. One reason why I dislike AIO. You normally don't need to replace thermal paste until a year or two later at least.
