external hard disk problem

Last night i was at playing batman arkham knight and after i've done playing, i want to open my external to watch movies but it suddenly became not responding. i tried replugging. it doesnt work at. And now its not showing up at all. I even tried check at disk management and bios setup too it just not showing up. I think it works perfectly because when i plugged in it make a sound and the device is vibrating and i can see a blue light... please tell me you guys can fix it :'(

Do you have current, recent, backups of your Data and OS partitions?
We're going to have to rule out physical failure 'cause cloning or full imaging probably will not work. Are there any strange unusual sounds or behavior from that HD -- outside of the blue light, outside of the vibrating?

i dont think so. if it were a normal hard disk, does it make any sound? Hahaha... im not a tech guy.. btw, i really appreciate you answering my questions. tq so much

it's desktop and yes i tried it on another computers but it's the same. it make a sound as usual but it's not showing up anywhere that i can see
