I just built this new PC and when I press the power button, everything turns on. The fans, the leds, everything! But there's no display on the screen, the monitor won't even pick it up and it just goes to sleep. I'm really not sure what's going on, I've already tested the GPU (Gtx 970) on another build and it works great. I've tested 2 monitors and none have worked so far using this build. I've tried HDMI and DVI. I did ran into another problem while building it though, I noticed that when I connected the chassis fan onto the chassis fan slot in the mobo, it wouldn't turn on at all. So I just hooked it up directly to the PSU and it turned on normally except for the display. I've already reseated the RAM and tried to retrace my steps but no luck. I'm guessing maybe the MoBo is acting up and maybe it's defective (it's an old model now, called H61 M-E). I THINK I might me missing the standoffs where the mobo sits, is there any way that might be the reason for this problem?
