Motherboard w/ wifi antenna poor performance

I recently built my first pc and chose the Asus ROG Strix Z270e motherboard over the Z270f (same model but without included wifi) because according to reviews, the price difference was fair for the quality of the antenna included with the Z270e.

My ISP on paper provides 100/5 mbps speeds. In reality, my old macbook pro (mid 2012) gets speedtests of almost 120 mbps and close to 6 mbps. However, my new pc with the Z270e seemingly caps at 20mbps download, but still gets close to 6 mbps upload. Is this normal performance for the antenna included or am I missing something? This is my first time in the windows environment, and although I believe I have updated all drivers, I might be overlooking something.

5Ghz network. The difference in speedtests is pretty controlled between my desktop and mac laptop. I think it either has to be a setting that Im unaware of in windows/bios , bad batch of hardware, or maybe thats the actual performance.

Would you at least be able to rule out the possibility that the expected performance of the hardware is this low? Just to confirm there is actually a problem.
