Good day everyone,

Motherboard: Asus Z97M-Plus/BR
CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 3.1 GHz
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 EVO
RAM: 2x 8GB G.Skill Sniper
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4GB
SSD: Crucial MX200 500 GB
HDD: Seagate SSHD 1 TB
PSU: Corsair VX550 550W

I had the PC setup above since Aug 2015, when my previous PC's motherboard stopped working after 5 years of use. Almost all the parts were bought at that time, only the SSD, HDD, PSU and 2 fans were reused from the old PC.

Everything was working fine until September 2016, when the I decided to buy a better CPU and, for the first time, try a water cooler. When installing the new CPU and Cooler, I must had broken something in my motherboard because it wouldn't boot. So I went shopping again and bought the MoBo below:

Motherboard: MSI Z97M-G43
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ Stock 4 GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair High Performance H60 Water Cooler

For the past 4 days, my PC was again with problems. During use, which consinst most of gaming on the primary monitor and Twitch's stream on the secondary, the 2 monitors that I have would stop receiving signal from the GPU and the Windows would freeze, while all the fans kept running. When it happened (it takes a few hours to happen), I forced a shutdown, sometimes I would wait 20-30 min and it would work again. Sometimes when it didn't, I opened the case and disconnected a few things, like the GPU, Fans and/or RAM. But since yesterday's night, it stopped again and I still couldn't make it work.

Fans connected to the Motherboard and the GPU's fans won't start, while the fans connected to the PSU start normally. Could this be another motherboard with problem?

Solution
It looks like your PSU might be killing your motherboards. Test another PSU if possible (but it may be too late for this motherboard anyway).

I will be doing that as soon as I get home later today and will post the results.

Just finished testing another PSU (Corsair CX430 - I know it is bad, but that is what I had here) with just the motherboard and the CPU Cooler/Water Pump and it worked.

A few minutes ago, did another test with everything installed, except GPU, and Windows booted. Everything seems to be working. I'm not going to use too much until I get a another PSU, which I might get the Corsair RM650x.

Thank you very much for helping.
