Guys,

When describing a problem, please use proper terminology, so those who are trying to help don't get confused or misunderstand.

Tj Max is the Thermal Specification that defines your processor's Throttle temperature, which is a fixed value. "Real Temp" shows Tj Max in the "Settings" button in the lower right-hand corner.

Tj Max minus Core temperature equals Distance to Tj Max, which means how far your Core temperature is below Tj Max (Throttle temperature).

As Core temperature increases, Distance to Tj Max decreases. Some users find Distance to Tj Max confusing and irrelevant.

Core temperature is always the most relevant value.

"Core Temp" is a simpler utility which is just as accurate as Real Temp, and shows Tj Max right up front: http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
