I am looking to spend around $50 for an intel cpu or up to $75 IF there is a blatant night and day in performance for the cost. This machine will be for normal everyday user, web surfing, youtube, maybe quicken.
I am not sure what to look for in a processor. I was told not to base overall performance on ghz. But I have noticed I have had success with intel dual core 2.XX ghz processors in the past. AMD seems to be a disappointment for me. Am i not being realistic here? I did find this but not sure if its junk in actual performance.
