All in the question. Here are some options I've been looking for
Kingston Hyperx Cloud Core
Steelseries Siberia 200
Logitech G230
Please help me quick. I'm going to buy it tomorrow :)

I think that's how you have to approach every purchase. You can always find a few nominees in any price range to compete for the "best [insert product category here] for the money", the question is will it meet your needs. If you work on cars and want to buy a portable hoist, if the "best hoists for the money" in your price range aren't rated for the weight of your engine, then it really doesn't meet your needs.

Having G230 here, can definitely say it doesn't meet my son's needs ... it wasn't as good as his G930 that he had for 6 years but it had decent sound and comfort "for the money", and the mic stopped working. So with college expenses and all, he figured he could set aside $30 per paycheck which left him with a choice ....

My youngest son bought a G230 to replace his old G930 which bit the dust after about 6-7 years ... he was very disappointed to learn that the G930 is still available for about $75. His older brother had a $355 set of Sennheissers for which he yanked the wire out of the housing cause he kept standing up forgetting he was wearing them. While they were being repaired, they told him 4-6 weeks, and he bought a G930 set. Now he uses the G930 and keeps the Sennheissers in his plane. The youngest is selling his G230s and getting another G930 set as soon as he gets hos two new monitors off his CC.

So G230 is not worth for value? Cuz I'm buying it tomorrow. Any G930 is around 120-140$ here. So I can't afford that. Any suggestions for 50$?

Either I'm getting old or this topic used to say $70. It's all about what you are used to... and in future, always state where you are as then we can give you local pricing. If the G930, is nearing $250, i hesitate to think wht might be available for $50.

Might wanna try this site... they do a lot of headset reviews, find sumthin' ya like and then check local pricing.

was impressed with the sound quality offered by the Hephaestus v2. I have used gaming headsets ranging from $30.00 to over $200.00, and they didn’t sound anywhere near this good. Potent surround sound combined with an excellent range will definitely enhance your gaming experience – regardless of what you play....

The Hephaestus v2 is not especially high-tech or feature loaded, but it has what you need and some. Surround sound, comfort, in-line controls, and a little extra ear candy goes a long way, especially at this price.

Speaking of price, for $59.99 (Amazon) you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better set for the money. When I reviewed the Eros, I believed it was a strong low budget price. But if you’ve got an extra $24.00, why not get this instead? You won’t be disappointed.

GAMDIAS Hephaestus v2 is really cheap here. Around 20$. I could spend upto 60$. So why not get a better one is in my thoughts. I'm looking to buy Kingston Hyperx Cloud is around 70$ but after discounts and cashbacks, I could get it for 55$ which could be a nice value and a good headset. I've watched few reviews and they're pretty good. Should I go with it? Or Logitech G230 is the only choice now after Hyperx Cloud :)

Which model did you buy? HyperX is a pretty awesome model for people who don't want to spend a fortune while getting the new headset. Personally, I would go with HyperX as I already have these and I'm a very satisfied user of these. You could easily wear them for 4 - 5 hours without any discomfort. The microphone has a very good build quality and it always delivers the clearest sound you can get. I found this list very helpful while choosing the low-budget models.

I bought the hyperx cloud core which is almost same as cloud1(which gets extra foam covers and connectors). I'm really happy with the purchase as I could hear every sound detail in games. Siberia 200 is not a good deal IMO as it's mic is not good as cloud core. Logitech G230 is also a good choice too. :D

a) Set aside some money every 2 weeks for a month and buy another G230 .. or
b) Set aside some money every 2 weeks for 6 weeks and buy another G230

As it turned out, after doing some reading, he is extending his acquisition another 2 weeks and springing for the G933 ... he figured that the extra features and improved sound were worth waiting an other 2 weeks.

The Hyper X Cloud would appear to be a better choice than the G230, but it's also the same price as the G930, in which case I think the money is better spent on the G930. of course, that's the choice here ... where you live (still don't know where that is so can't make price comparisons) the price structure will be different.

GAMDIA has several decent sets but, like anything else, prices vary with which model
