Hey there I'm having a real ussue with my brand new custom build.
I have the following setup:
MSI z270 SLI PLUS mobo
i7 7700k
16GB 3200 mhz corsair ram
samsung 256gb ssd
MSI nvidia 1070 8gb

The weird thing is, i ran it for a few days in test setup and it worked like a charm.
Today I installed it into the case. and all of a sudden it would not boot. fans came on led's came on but screen stayed black.

I didnt get what was wrong so i took everything out agian into the test setup.
Now as the video shows, all I get is flashing leds and the CPU led on the side is going on and off.

I removed everything and tried to use the onboard vga, still zero point zero result.
Checked for any bend pins (tho I havent removed the cpu at all during the transfer)
I tried the ram in different slots, tried 1, or 2, everything ends up in the same result.

The only possible thing I can come up with, is that maybe the power supply on the 8 pin might be broken or something?

here is the video:

If you have any experience in this i would love you help!
Thank you in advance!

I found it in my manual. Our motherboards are both msi I have the SLI you have the SLI plus. I am sure the debug is the same. I saw the debug flash in your video.

That light blinking on your motherboard is is an indication the there is a cpu fail. Did you by any chance forget to put thermal paste on the cpu before you installed the liquid cooler?

It could be as you said the 8 pin to the cpu has a problem due to a bad power supply also.

nope didnt forget the thermal paste. I also ran the pc perfect before under full stress it never got above 50c.
The 8pin was under alot of stress in the case, that is the only thing really that changed. But I can't find anywhere if that gives the same Debug led flashes. Hoping someone knows.
Is it possible that during a very gentle soft transfer a cpu just stops working? I did not even remove the cooler
