Can my i5 3330 still kick it or should I upgrade it?

I have an i5 3330 3.0 ghz CPU. Can it still support some new mid range GPU's like the 1060s. (I currently have a GTX 960 paired with 8gb of ram. I am currently gaming at 720p but planning to go for a 1080p monitor in the near future. I am on a tight budget right now.
I've also seen some reviews about the new pentium G4560. is it worth an upgrade?

These are the games I play - NBA 2K17, GTA V, Project Cars etc. Not really much of a gamer

Solution
The i5 should still be able to hold up and the g4560 is more a downgrade since the i5 is a pure quadcore. If you want to upgrade the best thing you can do is get an i7 3770 :)

For now the i5 should be enough, you can always test it, but dont "upgrade" to the downgrade g4560 :)

Thank you for your answer. I guess i'd be sticking around my i5 for a while. btw i only have an H61 chipset mobo. If ever I see a cheap used i7 i'd be going for that :)
