I have tried everything on this http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems?_ga=2.77653399.2009573052.1493748765-265061857.1476892727 except the system speaker as I do not have the speaker to test with.

Today I got my new psu, evga 600w, in the mail because my old one had some issues where sometimes the fan would stop spinning causing my pc to crash, so I had to replace it. This build is only about one year old as well. Other than the psu crashing the pc, it was working fine until I removed the wires from the old psu and replaced it. Now it will not even power on. It is possible that I have some wires connected incorrectly, but I have triple checked it and everything looks good to me. I did test the new power supply with the tester that it provided in the box and it was working.

What should I try to do now? I am starting to assume the the mobo has died on me as I was replacing the psu

Specs:
i5-6500
gigabyte h110m-a
hyperx 8gb ddr4
1tb hdd
240 ssd
rx480 4gb

Try starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected to the motherboard.
No other wires or components.
Start the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button.
See if the CPU fan does spin.

Yeah. I just plugged it in and tried the screwdriver trick but nothing is working. At this point I'm just assuming that my mobo is dead and I should just get a new one. Any recommendations that is not too expensive, considering i just bought the psu. I live in canada, so something that ships to canada too
