Will a asus gtx 750ti fit in my dell xps 420

Hi im tudor, 14 and i love pc's. I have an old computer and the specs are.

Intel core 2 duo e8500
Dell OTP406 (motherboard)
Gtx 8800gt (256mb)
4gb ram
32bit
325w psu (i think)

I want to upgrade to a asus gtx 750ti. I want to know if it would fit and if it would make a difference. My brother and his friend are telling me that it wont make a slight difference and it is not worth. I need an upgrade and i think this is the one. Can anyone help. Thanks

I'd compare the measurements of your 8800 to whichever 750 Ti you're considering. The 750 Tis are mostly smaller cards, so I'd guess they will physically fit. If you can power the 8800 then you can power the 750 Ti.

What concerns me is what you hope to gain. The 750 Ti comes with a lot more vram, so that will help you run games better, especially newer games. However, you have a dual core CPU, 4gb system ram, and a 32bit version of Windows. That's going to affect which games you can run well, even with a 750 Ti.

Examples: GTA V= no, Battlefield 1= no, Playerunknown Battlegrounds= no, CSGO= yes, Dota 2= yes, League of Legends= yes

I think your brother and his friend know what kind of games you want to play and they know that this...
