Hi guys. I currently own a computer which has a GTX 750ti and an i7 4790. I have around 650 euros to upgrade and I wanted help looking into my options. I was looking at getting an MSI GTX 1080 and some more RAM and a motherboard which supports more than the 16GB that mine can handle right now. Another option would be an MSI GTX 1060 and a Core i7 7700k. What do you guys think I should do with the money? Keep my current CPU for a stronger GPU or upgrade both with a less powerful GPU.

No, I'm suggesting keeping your i7-4790 and getting a GTX 1070. Sorry if I confused you. I meant to say you most likely WON'T (will not) see a big increase.
Well it depends on what exactly you are wanting to do. that i7 is pretty powerful. I wouldn't recommend upgrading the CPU, motherboard, and RAM..then get another GPU. That will blow your budget. However, a GTX 1080 is probably too much if you are not pushing 1440 or 4K.

I would consider a 1070 for under $400 (probably cheaper in euros) and use that instead. You most likely want a see a BIG increase going from one i7 to the other.

So what exactly are you suggesting. A 1070 and a new i7?
