Can I overclock my i5-7200u

My Laptop has an i5-7200u ...Can I overclock this with CPU Fan Controller and a cooling fan under my laptop?? I always play while charging... So the battery consumption is not a problem but I doubt it will just increase the temperature..Thanks!!

Laptops are made with very tight tolerances. Due to that, you can't overclock.

Even with all the Cooling I have.. I can do a trial and error ..if it malfunctions lower the speed if everythings ok higher the clock speed.. And I want to have temp. cap... Maybe max is 75C??
I saw people trying to oc their laptops and they succeed I just want to extract some juice on my cpu..

People overclock the GPUs on their laptops, not the CPUs. There's not even any way to do it in the BIOS.

I mean how do you plan on doing it then? I'd say there's 0% chance that your BIOS even allows you to change the multiplier or baseclock. Some older laptops might not have had that locked, but new ones with BGA ultra low voltage processors will.

The U stands for ultra low power consumption. It's sole reason is to preserve power. Some high-end CPU's might be overclockable.
What I can tell you is that cooling pads don't do much for laptops. I've used three on my laptop and none of them made a noticeable difference.

There are people all over google overclocking their CPU and GPU but the difference ... on desktops.

It's probably fine on such a low powered CPU(if possible).

You can, however, the CPU Utilization will pretty much stay at between 50 and 100%. I've done this and am now trying to find default xtu profiles to rectify this. So although it may work in the short term I really wouldn't recommend it at all. It's now at the point where I can't make a track (yes I do produce music) with 40 channels or more without either my software crashing or worse, my whole computer. The i5 7200u is notoriously bad anyways, so I wouldn't make it 10x worse like I did.
