I don't know a lot about PC's I know like the basics but I was wondering if Intel i7 7700 or Intel i5 7600k I know that the i5 7600k is probably better because overclocking but I dont know exactly what that is so which one should I get? (For gaming games like GTA 5 eg.)

Solution
You will not notice the difference, especially if you run higher game quality settings and a resolution higher than 1080p. However, since the i5 7600K has a 200Hz higher four core clock speed than the i7 7700, it would be a few frames faster.

Unless you use your PC for productivity applications like video editing, you will be better off with the i5 and save money or put it into a better video card or some other hardware component. There are only a handful of games that utilize an i7's four extra virtual cores and many actually run worse on the i7 with the hyper-threaded cores. Here's an old GTA IV example of that:

Problem is I dont know how to overclock. I could probably learn how to but is it safe? *Probably a stupid question*

I will have a GTX 1060 6gb so I should be good on the Graphics unless you think I should get GTX 1070

It depends on your resolution and monitor. If you have a 60Hz 1080p monitor, the GTX 1060 6GB will be more than adequate. However, if you have either a 1440p 60Hz monitor or a G-sync 144Hz 1080p monitor, you will need more GPU power. A GTX 1070 is overkill for 1080p in all but a handful of games (like Dues Ex and Watch Dogs 2 which are today's Crysis).

You can get a good idea of the 1060 performance in game benchmarks here with different resolutions:
