Hey guys,I have a custom built cpu which specs are
Core 2 duo e7400 2.8 ghz
Hd 6670 ddr 5
Esonic g41 combo ddr3 & ddr2
I know my mobo is old.But still its running very good.I do think i can put Ddr3 & ddr 2 same time.So if put a single 8 gb ddr3 on it will it run?and i can only find 1600 mhz but my mobo support only 1333 mhz on ddr3.So can i u
se that ram? Thanks in advance

Solution
The motherboard uses the G41 chipset which supports either DDR2 OR DDR3 memory, but not both at the same time.

8 GB memory is not supported owing to use of higher density memory chips in memory modules. The maximum supported memory is 4 GB (DDR3 OR DDR2).

Also, the maximum non-overclocked supported memory frequency is 1066 MHz (DDR3). If wanting to run DDR3 memory at 1333 MHz, then overclocking will be required.
