This has probably been asked numerous times before but it would be nice to have specific help for this problem. I just built a new PC (my first) and have a Rosswill Dual Band PCIE intern]et card installed. My room is currently out of Wifi range for my home router so I'm using a Netgear WN3000rpv3 Wifi range extender, which both my phone and laptop connect to with Internet.
My problem is that on the new PC *mywifinetwork*_EXT shows up as a network option but when I connect it says there is no internet. My initial thought was that this is the case because the card is not supported by Windows 10 (which I am running), but the card and its drivers seem to be working just fine (aside from not getting internet). Am I stupid and the card is the actual problem or is there some way to fix this with out having to get a new internet card? If the card is the issue I would love suggestions for any wireless solution that is supported by Windows 10. Thanks!
