Hey everyone,
I've built my pc about 6 months ago and now its been acting up, about a week ago it started randomly rebooting it was something about surge protection, so i googled it and it said to update my bios, the random reboot stopped but now my monitors are randomly going to sleep mode when im playing games and my gpu fans start spinning real loud, and when i try furmark i just get a white screen, i know it isnt a software problem because i did a clean reset on windows then it stopped happening for a few hours but it's strated again. Now I want to know if the problem is with my gpu or PSU, because ive read some articles saying it could be a faulty psu, but i even payed extra to get a good psu so I dont know to be honest. I've also done no overclocking.
My specs are
Proccesor: Intel i7 6700k Clocked at 4Ghz
Gpu: Msi Gtx 1070 Gaming X
Ram: 16 Gb ram clocked at 3200 Mhz,
Mobo: Asus z170 Gaming Carbon Pro,
Psu: Corsair 650RMX,
Ssd: Samsung Evo 850 250Gb,
HDD: western digital Blue 1TB
Case: Nzxt N450

Highly unlikely it's a PSU problem

More likely driver or software issue

You could plug in the monitor in your mainboards output and see if the problem is still happening
If it's not it's most likely the GPU, either hardware-sided or software-sided

just a question did you install the latest NVidia and the latest windows 10 update .why I ask I had very similar problems and it turned out the latest driver with the windows update is creating a lot of problems .so what I would try is installing earlier NVidia drivers this might sort your problem out 21.21.13.7892 try there's drivers

first of go to http://www.guru3d.com/
download Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 17.0.6.4
then download GeForce 378.92 WHQL driver download and install . recommend download the drivers first then remove your old drivers with the uninstaller .make shore your pc goes into save mode and don't let windows 10 update the display driver when you have removed your old ones .

alright so i tried it but it didnt work, i tried running furmark on it and it instantly gave me the black screen again, and when i tried doing it on my cpus interg rated graphics it was fine, so i assume the problem is with my gpu and i should rma or something
