Well, it would be paired with a 7700K. 90% of the time I am gaming but I do rendering and editing the other 10% of the time. The Ram is the exact same price, so at this point it is determining if speed and quality is better than size.

Faster ram is accompanied by higher cas numbers, negating much of the advantage.
