Weird noise coming from GPU while playing the witcher 1

i recently downloaded the witcher 1 and once i started it up today as soon as the intro movie or whatever it is starts,my GPU starts producing some weird high pitched sound,i checked the temperature of the GPU everything was normal. This sound can only be heard while playing the witcher 1 and it stops even if i alt tab out but continues as long as i'm playing the game. Does anyone know what it could be

also my gpu is the 6gb version gtx 1060

Coil whine. Its usually very apparent during say a cut scene or a menu where the gpu is running at like 2000fps if you have vsync disabled. Witcher 3 does the same thing for me in menus, so will any game at a high enough framerate. It wont hurt anything, perfectly normal. I also have a 1060 6gb. Every gpu I have ever owned produce's coil whine when run at extremely high framerates.

yes thank you,it was really loud during the intro movie then it got quiet in the menu but still very annoying,didn't open the options nor start the story yet but will check the FPS

I just started really playing the witcher 3, I have played it before but could never really get into it. But I decided to try again, now I love it and want to play witcher 1 and 2 as well. I hope the first one is not too rough, 2 looks like it holds up decently well from game play videos I have seen.

i finished witcher 3 a couple of times,best game ever,witcher 2 is also amazing and it even does some things better tbh. playing the witcher 1 for the first time ever simply for the story,combat is bad but it's playable
