Looking for a CPU cooler

I have recently been searching for a CPU cooler and I was going to go with the Cryorig H5 Universal but the price increased and now its very expensive.

I only have these options available for me:

I might do some slight overclocking in the future and the system will mainly be used for gaming and an i5-7600k will be used.

Please tell me which one is best.

The 212 is a whole tier below the cryorigs
The BeQuiet are a bit pricey as well

I'd go with a Scythe Mugen 5 / Mugen Max, both available for around 50$
Or a Thermalright True Spirit 140

All of them are way better than the ones you've listed
And pretty much underrated due to the Cryorigs' great design and performance

That is true. I needed a cooler quickly for my son's pc and I ordered it expedited from amazon.
It performed superbly and was quiet.

It was a I5-3570K without an overclock in a Silverstone PS-07 case.
Don't know the temperatures, but the rig was virtually silent and temperatures were no issue.

Scythe was a bigger deal back in the day and still is in Japan
The Mugen 2 was like the most suggested cooler when it came out

But they didn't go into the premium market
If you do some reading there are enough.... people out there suggesting than anything else but a Noctua NH-D15 is not sufficient

But they are solid.
I'm running a Mugen 4 to cool my i7-6700k and a AMD Phenom II x4 955 OC before

The problem with temps is it's hard to compare:

In my old 20€ case my temps were always around 60°C
In my new 110€ case, my temps are idling around 30, not reaching 60°C with the 6700k (only a very low OC applied)

I use a noctua NH-U12s with a 120mm fan on my I5-7600K overclocked to 4.9 with no cooling issues at all.
I rate the scythe kotetsu as equally efficient.
In fact if you read the detail on the spcr review, they suggest that the kotetsu is even better than the Noctua NH-U12s.

I would not be worried.

Shadow rock slim should work fine.
The spcr review of the kotetsu shows a direct comparison, but scythe seems to command wildly varying prices

Shadow Rock Slim will give you a hard time when overclocking unless it's a greatly ventilated case and overall cool location
with a Cryorig H7 often struggling with an OC Kaby Lake I can't see the Shadow Rock Slim doing better
but if above points apply to your computer, it's worth a try
