It might meet minimum specs but it doesn't look overly promising. For instance farcry3, Tom's did a benchmark of it back in 2012 and when paired with an hd7970 gpu, a phenom ii x4 955 at 3.2ghz was capable of 32-45fps. Those were using medium quality settings at 1080p.

The phenom is a somewhat faster cpu than the c2d e6700. It achieved around 10fps better on both crysis warhead and farcry2 by the same company (though different engines).

In other words, expect to turn settings way down and even then fps will likely be in the 30's and 40's. If you're ok with that then it should be fine, some people are fine with 30fps. Just don't be shocked if game play is a little rough or graphics settings have to be lowered so they aren't running...

You should be able to play these games on a mix of Low and Medium settings comfortably.

For a better experience I would suggest you to upgrade your processor to something like the Core 2 Quad Q6600 or Q8400 since your current processor (Core 2 Duo E6700) uses a LGA 775 socket which also supports all Core 2 Quad processors and also buy a good air cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212x and overclock it. I would also suggest you to switch over to Windows 10 64-bit and a graphics card upgrade to something powerful like the GTX 1050 or 750Ti. I think a PSU upgrade will also be required for the above upgrades so any PSU from Seasonic would be nice. If your MoBo supports up to 8GB RAM then an upgrade to 8GB would also be nice.

If your budget doesn't allow you to do any of the above upgrades then I would suggest you to at least overclock your CPU by some 100-200MHz. You would notice a increase in performance, be it in games or something like web browsing.
