Intel H170 CPU to Chipset motherboard error! Please Help!

Hello,

I just received this error on PCPartPicker: "Some Intel H170 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." Is this something to worry about and if so how do I fix it. I would also like to know if this is a viable build and any revisions an experienced person would make, this is my first build.

A H270 motherboard will work with a 7500 CPU
To use a H170 with a 7500 CPU, you need to update it first.
This means you fit a CPU where the number begins with a 6 (anything from a pentium to an i7 will do), update the bios, remove the older CPU, then fit your 7500.
Easier to buy a 6000 series for a H170, or a 7000 series for a H270

You're getting your money's worth. You couldn't take advantage of DDR4-3000Mhz on the H170 platform, the only route you'd need to go if you wanted that ram to function at that speed is for a Z270 motherboard. SPeaking of motherboard, you'd have required a 200 series chipset in order to avoid the issue with an incompatible CPU. You could get a BIOS update done but you'd have also needed an older CPU, which isn't going to come cheap.

I changed the PSU and ept the build to an all Asus/Strix theme and gave you much more reliable PSU. You could drop in an SSD if you can afford it.
