My spec is:
Graphics Card: Nvidia Gtx 1070
MotherBoard: Asrock H97M Pro4
Processor: i7 4770 3.4 GHz
Ram: 16 GB
64 bit Windows 10
Hard drive size: 500 GB (getting a bigger one soon 3tb-4tb)

So i have been getting really annoyed due to playing Players Unknown's Battlegrounds with my friends/streamer then suddenly the game crashes to the send the error to developers every time it has happened i have pushed it off till tonight i went on a the resource Monitor and to memory and seen when i start PUBG the hard Faults/sec starting increasing to 1..2..3 all the way up to 38 i dont have any idea what Hard Faults are and if it is the reason for my games crashing.

Also is my Motherboard too old/bad for gaming and should i get a new one?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and hope you can help with my problem.

How to update your motherboard BIOS can be found in this link. Pertaining to your GPU, which driver revision are you currently on? It all depends on the status of your HDD, if the repair install fails or is intermittently halted then we can also include the HDD into the bag of issues. The link I've parsed about the repair install clearly states that the updates will be in place but it'd be a good idea to back up any and/or all critical content like your personal files off of the My Documents folder. Think of it this way, if you are afraid of loosing any files off the main(C: ) drive then they best be backed up on an external storage device.

Point to be made, try and get one suggestion off the table otherwise we only have a...

Even if you went with a new board, you wouldn't find one compatible with your processor+ram without breaking the bank and even if you did so, it'd be logical to go for a current gen platform. That being said, have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date while your GPU drivers are also concurrent? You might need to perform a repair install in case your OS might've picked up a corruption.

Point to be made, try and get one suggestion off the table otherwise we only have a list of ideas. I don't see any need for you to be in a hurry.

As far as responses are concerned,(and as a response to your PM) please be patient since we're all here on a voluntary basis so we'll all come around at some point when we're free of our other agendas.

Another point, please try and invest in a multiple storage setup since one single HDD tends to have more failure points when you have multiple partitions and tasks working on one physical mechanical HDD. Ideally a small HDD(500GB) for the OS/games and a large HDD(1TB and above) for storage/media.
