Hello
First of all i dont know if this is the right category , but i couldnt find anywhere to talk this about . tell me if you know a specific place.

Im getting DDOSed from someone outside my country. How can i prevent someone DDOSing me .
And can ddos actaully reach into my person files on my PC?

This might be off topic but how can i report someone ddosing me to the security ( i know what country the ddoser is in)

Solution
The only thing you can do about it is request a different IP address from your ISP.
If you have a DDNS setup for a gaming server or something else that the person knows of then you need to turn off or change your ddns name.

Outside of that there is nothing you can do. Its like asking what can you do to make the wind not blow so hard; you just have to wait until they get bored of it.
You might be able to get ISP to filter their IP address but if it is a true DDOS then they are using many many IP addresses.

From your (PC/Router) side, you can't do anything against DDoS. Once these packets have reached your router, they have eaten the bandwidth to your ISP. If your router is doing its job, and your PC is not in the DMZ, you're safe.

As for "reporting to someone" - The fact that you see some IP reaching your router does not mean that the attack originated from that IP.

Bottom line: Play by the rules. Don't piss off people. Get offline for day or two - there's life outside Internet as well. Ask your ISP what can be done to alleviate DDoS effects.
