I am trying to power my cooling pad for my labtop and i lost the usb cord. But going through many boxes i found a adapter that has a Input: 100-240VAC -50/60Hz max. 350mA. Output: 5V, and 2000mA. But the device requires 5V and 230mA. Would this be safe to use or dangerous

Solution
The 2000 mA on the adapter is the maximum current it can output. It can easily provide less current. So if the voltage matches, the plug fits, and you need fewer Amps than the adapter can output, you're good to go.
