Hey guys hoping someone here can help me so I have a Nvidia 1060 gtx which has a dvi d port a hdmi port and a dp port I'm trying to go from that to both monitors mainly for streaming. My first monitor was a kind of a cheap one that runs off of hdmi the second one is a higher end acer gaming monitor and I'm trying to go from a dvi d port on my graphics card to the new one which is a vga plug in. I'm using an adapter to go from the dvi d port to the vga but it won't recognize it on my computer. I've changed the input on the monitor to vga which didn't show up and than auto detect also which didn't work so please someone help please and thank you. =)
