Can you please state the SKU for the prebuilt Lenovo system? We could just suggest the highest end AM3 processor but often then not the manufacturer can and will place limitation within the BIOS to allow only a limited range of CPU's to go on it. Likewise your ram upgrade may be limited.
P.S: Is it this motherboard? I assume you could get a 900 series Phenom II processor in there.
